Mina Chang, MD HMDC FAAHPM

Chief Medical Officer, Hospice Medical Director
Hospice of East Bay

Dr. Chang is the Chief Medical Officer and Hospice Medical Director at Hospice East Bay in Pleasant Hill, California. She currently oversees the clinical service lines for Hospice and Palliative Care program. Prior to this, she was Assistant Chief of Palliative Medicine, Hospice Medical Director and Clinic Director at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City for 10 years. She is double board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She received her certification for the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Chang has served various roles as a volunteer for American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. She is currently Chair of the Hospice Medicine Council. She also serves as a Hospice Medical Director Certification Board Ambassador. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, running, tennis and hiking with her family.
