Jeanne is a seasoned healthcare executive with over thirty years of experience in hospice, palliative care, and community-based healthcare. With a Master's in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Developmental and Behavioral Disabilities, Jeanne has a strong foundation in both healthcare administration and patient-centered care.
As the current CEO of the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of New York State, Jeanne provides strategic leadership and advocacy to ensure quality end-of-life care for all New Yorkers. Previously, as VP of Community Services at Rochester Regional Health Home Care and Hospice, Jeanne founded a nationally recognized pediatric palliative care program and oversaw a large hospice, palliative care program, and licensed agency.
Recognized for her expertise in end-of-life care and community-based services, Jeanne was named to the City and State 2024 Health Care Power 100 in January 2024. Jeanne was selected as one of the 100 statewide leaders recognized for shaping healthcare policy and practice in New York. Jeanne also recently served as the Chair of NYS Master Plan on Aging Long Term Care Services - End-Of-Life Workgroup, contributing to New York State's Plan focusing on ensuring dignified and independent aging for all individuals. Additionally, Jeanne has contributed to several peer-reviewed journal articles and is a frequent presenter on hospice, palliative care, and advance care planning topics.
As President and CEO of HPCANYS Jeanne has brought together her passion for grass-roots advocacy along with her knowledge and experience in home and community-based services. This combination serves to advance policy and support for quality end-of-life care through collaborative and broad-based networking and relationship building.
