Edward W. Martin, MD MPH (he/him/his)

Chief Medical Officer
Hopehealth

Dr Martin is the Chief Medical Officer at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care Rhode Island and a fellow of AAHPM. He is the former director of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship. He is a Professor of Medicine at the Brown Alpert School of Medicine and the Section Chief of Palliative Medicine where he has been teaching about hospice and end of life care for the past 35years. He served as the cochair of the AAHPM hospice policy ad hoc work group from January 2023 to present. He also serves with the public policy committee. He has presented at the annual assembly on regulatory topics in the past.
